The IPA’s were announced this past week . . . unfortunately I didn’t place in the categories I entered in. I will try again next year.
This year’s entries spanned 103 countries worldwide with approximately 15,000 submissions. Jurors had the challenging task of reducing that number to 330 winners and 21 Finalists who will go on to compete for three top awards – International Photographer of the Year, sponsored by AtEdge, The Discovery of the Year awarded to a non professional, and the Deeper Perspective Photographer of the Year awarded to the photographer whose story behind the images are just as compelling as the photographs themselves.
Here is a page of all the winners, quite frankly I disagree with some of the decisions. I am not sorry that I entered and am only inspired to enter something more spectacular next year and at least place as a finalist!
One of my entries in the Bridges category.
